Case No. 8 - Lekh Bahadur
Mr. Lekh Bahadur Thapa, 28 years old male patient had sustaind fall injury 5 years ago. He was diagnosed to have T12 vertebral burst fracture with paraplegia. He had undergone surgery at that time with Dr.Chakra R. Pandey, with anterior decompression, tricortical bone grafting and Moss-Miami instrumentation. He had some recovery of his left leg musculature. However, he was wheelchair bound. Patient had been admitted for rehabilitation for possible ambulation. He was shown to the urologist for bladder stone and urinary problems. His bladder stones have been removed by the urologist by cystostomy. Patient has been partially funded by our charity fund. His hospital stay and rehabilitation have been supported by the fund and urologic surgery has been supported by themselves in less than 100 US dollar cost (Discounted cost).
